Leydis Sanchez AguirreLeydis and her four children fled a life of hardship and extreme poverty in Nicaragua. She arrived in Costa Rica full of hope for a better life for her and her children. She is working hard to make a better life for her and her children.
God introduced Leydis to the ministry through the free English classes the ministry was conducting. She started with small side jobs for the ministry and over time showed that she was a hard worker and a good candidate for the Single Mother's Ministry. She currently is employed with the ministry cooking and cleaning for the mission teams we host. The ministry provides her with work and a safe home for her and her children. Our goal for her family is to grow spiritually, and be discipled as followers of Christ. We also want to provide her the opportunity to have steady work. We hope that some day soon she will be able to own a small home to live. |
