Steve and Nikki Shamblin

Steve and Nikki have six children, Thomas, Emily, Sadie, Reed, Elizabeth, and Lydia. They have served in ministry together for over 30 years. They have worked with an outdoor camp ministry, children and youth ministry; they were teachers and administrators at a Christian school and have coached several different sports. They have made six short term mission trips to Costa Rica and 6:8 ministries bringing several different teams to serve at 6:8. During these trips they have fallen in love with the ministry and their vision to change the lives of the local people through ministry.
Steve plans to move to Costa Rica before the summer of 2023 and learn the 6:8 ministry culture, work closely with the mission teams, and serve in any capacity he can. Nikki and their two adopted children plan to arrive in Costa Rica in August of 2023 and begin this journey together. Their role with 6:8 ministries will revolve around preparing and serving the ministry teams and assisting the local 6:8 staff in everyday community ministry. |
